The fees are fixed and set out below.  They are payable before each session by “Stripe” bank transfer.

Typically, mediation will involve the following:

1.     A telephone conversation to establish whether mediation is an option

2. Each party will have a one-to-one meeting with me by Zoom.  This is a Mediation Information and Assessment Meeting (MIAM).The purpose of this meeting is for me to explain the mediation process, answer any question there may be, and then discuss what that person is looking for in mediation and how best to prepare for a joint session.  This typically lasts 30 -45 minutes.

3. A joint session will be set up where I will meet with you both via Zoom and we will establish the agenda and work through it.  These sessions last 60 minutes

4. Subsequent joint sessions will be arranged until all matters on the agenda have been covered and firm proposals reached.

5.     Once matters have been resolved I will prepare a Memorandum of Understanding (summary) together with an agreed Asset schedule if finances are involved  This is not a legally binding document but its provisions can then be made binding via solicitors or the Court if required.

Time spent on the preparation of notes after meetings or correspondence (unless matters are complex or which require a significant additional input in which case additional fees will be discussed at the time) is not charged for.
